 Television Programming Tips
How to set up your television to CABLE:

Press the MENU or DISPLAY button on your remote

Select SET UP.

Make sure CABLE or CATV is selected. If antenna or air is selected, you will not get cable channels.
Programming your cable-ready television:
- Press the MENU or DISPLAY button on your remote.
- Select CHANNEL SETUP or AUTO PROGRAMMING.
- You may have to wait a few minutes for the television to go through this process.
If you are unable to program your television from the above instructions, please refer to your owner’s manual.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Check to be sure your remote control batteries are good.
- Securely tighten all cable connections on the back of your television.
- Check to see if all or just one channel has bad reception. If the problem is only one channel, it is probably just a temporary transmission problem from that particular network.
- Determine if the problem is on all televisions in your home that are connected to cable.
- If cable is received through a VCR or DIGITAL CONVERTER, make sure your television is tuned to CHANNEL 3.
